Many Cities, Many Houses

Ethiopia is full of diverse cultures and communities, and there are many kinds of dwellings to live in. Houses made of sticks, tall condominiums, complex thatched roofs and mud walls are just some of the many beautiful architectural styles that decorate the countryside. Children in Ambo, Gambela, Afar, Gode and Addis Ababa may all live in different styles of houses, but all of them find joy and play in their surroundings.
